New Minister to Serve UUCLV

Reverend Larry Smith has accepted an offer to serve our congregation as a contract minister starting August 1. Ordained in 1999, Rev. Smith has over a dozen assignments in the Mid-Atlantic/New England region as an interim, contract, or consulting minister and is uniquely qualified to serve our community. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Meadville/Lombard Theological School and an MS in Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He currently serves as hospice chaplain. He resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his wife and 5-year old son.

Reverend Smith will continue to reside in Cherry Hill and serve us in a ‘hybrid’ capacity. While maintaining office locally two days a week, he will be available via zoom or phone calls the remaining portions of the week. He will preside in the pulpit on Sundays and be available in person for other important church functions throughout the year.
