The Board invites all members and friends of the UUCLV to attend a congregational meeting after worship on Sunday, October 12 for an informational presentation about the property (331 Constitution Avenue, Hellertown, PA 18055), followed by a Q&A/discussion and then a vote. Although only members can vote, we encourage ALL active participants in UUCLV worship/activities to attend either in person or on Zoom.
Members: We will be checking the most up-to-date member list to determine who can vote. If you are unsure of your status, you can reach out to membership@uuclvpa.org. You can vote in person by attending the meeting at the Lehigh Valley Active Life Center or you can vote electronically if you attend on Zoom. Either way you vote, it will be anonymous. The vote will take place at ~1pm, after the presentation and Q&A. Votes will be counted after the meeting is adjourned and the result communicated via email.
If you are unable to make the meeting due to a conflict, you can reach out to request the opportunity to submit an absentee vote. Because this is such a big, far-reaching decision for the UUCLV, the Board has decided to make this option available for members who truly cannot make the meeting.
